City Standard was born from a simple belief: locals deserve better apparel than what's hanging in a souvenir shop.
Born and raised in Nashville, we had a front-row seat to one of the fastest-growing cities over the past few decades. As the city exploded, so did the amount of Nashville-branded merchandise. But most of it felt like it was made for tourists – not the people who actually lived there. Meanwhile, other cities were developing stylish, modern brands that locals were proud to wear.
